Welcome to Tai Chi with Chantal. By purchasing, accessing, or participating in any online course, class, video, or program offered by Tai Chi with Chantal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use, including the Waiver and Release of Liability.

  • Course Access

    Your purchase provides you with a personal, non-transferable license to access this course for your own personal use only. Your account and login credentials must remain private and may not be shared with anyone else. You may not allow others to access your account or transfer your course access to another person. Any violation of these terms may result in the suspension or termination of your access without notice.

  • Intellectual Property

    All videos, lessons, written materials, downloadable resources, images, logos, graphics, and other course content are the exclusive property of Tai Chi with Chantal and are protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. You may not copy, reproduce, record, download (unless specifically permitted), share, sell, publish, distribute, modify, or use any portion of the course materials for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Tai Chi with Chantal.

  • Health Acknowledgement

    Tai Chi is a form of physical activity. By participating in this course, you acknowledge that you are doing so voluntarily and accept full responsibility for determining whether the exercises are appropriate for your individual health and fitness level. If you have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, balance concerns, or any other health issue that could affect your ability to exercise safely, you agree to consult your physician or another qualified healthcare professional before participating. You further agree to exercise within your own physical limits and to stop immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other discomfort, seeking medical advice where appropriate.

  • Medical Disclaimer

    The information provided in this course is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. Nothing contained within this course constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare services. You should always consult your physician or another qualified healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise program or making decisions relating to your health.

  • Assumption of Risk

    You understand and acknowledge that participation in Tai Chi and other forms of physical activity involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle soreness, strains, sprains, falls, loss of balance, physical injury, and the aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions. By choosing to participate in this course, you knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks associated with your participation, whether known or unknown, and assume full responsibility for any consequences arising from your involvement.

  • Waiver and Release of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily release, waive, and forever discharge Tai Chi with Chantal, Chantal Barrette, and all of their employees, contractors, representatives, instructors, successors, affiliates, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, demands, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to your participation in any online or in-person class, lesson, program, workshop, or course. This release includes, without limitation, claims relating to personal injury, illness, property damage, financial loss, accidents, or any other damages that may occur during or as a result of participation, except where liability cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. By participating in this course, you acknowledge that you do so entirely at your own risk.

  • Individual Results

    Every person is different. We make no guarantee regarding improvements in health, flexibility, mobility, balance, fitness, or any other outcome. Your results depend on many factors, including your individual health, consistency, and effort.

  • Payments and Refunds

    All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where a refund is approved in accordance with our Refund Policy, the customer will receive a refund of the full purchase price, including any applicable taxes paid.

  • Account Security

    You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
